Our mission is to promote the fascination of golf in the Valley Passiria and create a welcoming community for golf enthusiasts of all ages. We emphasize tradition, passion, and a familial atmosphere. Our pursuit of excellence in golf is shaped by the values of our founder Karl Pichler: perseverance, conviction, and love for the homeland.
History of the Golf Club
Our story begins over three decades ago when Karl (Schaly) Pichler had the vision to bring the sport of golf to the picturesque Valley Passiria. As a “Unterwirts” son with a strong connection to his homeland, he persistently pursued his endeavor. In 1996, he opened the 9- hole golf course, which he expanded to 18 holes eight years later, in 2004. Karl was not only a visionary but also a fighter for his beliefs. The joy was immense when his daughter Renate and son-in-law Roland caught the golf bug, taking over the cherished project.
Management and Team
Today, the golf club is shaped by two generations united by a shared passion. Carolin , the founder’s granddaughter, manages the club together with her mother Renate and her husband Dominik.
While Renate contributes her many years of experience and the values of the family business, Carolin and Dominik continue to develop the golf club with fresh ideas, new perspectives and great dedication.
Together, they form a strong team that carries on Karl Pichler’s vision. Supported by a committed staff whose enthusiasm and dedication are key to the club’s success, everyone plays an important role. Together, we are proud to preserve the golfing tradition of the Passeier Valley while leading it confidently into the future.
